I have invariably abhored cleaning the toilet. It’s foul and unpleasant After I clean the toilet, I can’t ever decide what I should do with the used brush, and it drips down on the toilet and floor. Ugh! I have to say this is the primary chore, I tried exceptionally hard to get out of. As you can imagine, the toilet did not get cleaned as often as it should have been, and even when it did, most of the time I just poured the chemicals in and let it soak for a bit before I just flushed it. Now dumping the chemicals in could have eradicated the bugs but it did not much at all to the stains.

A while ago, I was trying to clean things up a little because company was coming. When it was time to clean the bathroom, I realized just how disgusting the toilet was. So I put on gloves and started scrubbing. I used chemicals and clean hot water and poured them into the toilet and scrubbed forever. After what seemed like hours, there was water all over the floor.

My mom, who was visiting at the time came to see how I was doing. I turned to answer her and slipped in a puddle. She reached out to steady me and we both started to fall. She was able to grab the toilet tank but hit the flush handle in the process. I fell on my rear. While I was nursing a bruised ego and backside, I heard her wailing at the toilet, “no, No, NO!” When I looked at her, I realized that her top dentures were gone. My day was spent digging up the backyard in search of the cap to the sewage line to try and find those teeth.

Despite the many chemicals that I tried, much of the stains remained.

Since that time I have tried every cleanser around that promises that I would never need to clean my toilet again.

I was continually disappointed.

The same stains stubbornly stayed. A few days later I was at a friends place who was shopping online and he bought a refill for Kaboom Neverscrub. I laughed and proclaimed that those products just don’t work. He assured me that this one did, and bet me dinner that it would work. So, never one to pass up a chance at a free meal, I bought the kit. The product sat on top of the commode for a few days, because I’m lazy. Eventually I decided to install it, and was pleasantly surprised that it took less than a minute to completely install and was so easy. Then I waited. After just a few days I could see the stains lightening. By the end of the second week all the stains were completely gone, even under the rim. I immediately worried because I thought something this strong must be too powerful for my septic tank, but I researched and found that it was completely safe. So, now all I need to do to clean the toilet is refill the reservoir once every three months.

Now I just need to buy my friend dinner.
